Furnace Repair — Book a Visit Today

We handle furnace repair and heating repair for homeowners across Arizona, California and Nevada, and the fastest next step is to call us with what the furnace is doing right now. Most no-heat calls come down to a cracked ignitor, a dirty flame sensor, a failed inducer or blower motor, a clogged filter choking airflow, or a control board and safety switch shutting the burner down on purpose. A visit starts with your thermostat and filter, then we open the cabinet, read the control board fault, test the ignition sequence and check temperature rise and airflow. We explain what failed and what it takes to fix it before we touch a part. If you smell gas, leave the house, call 911 or the gas utility, then call us.

The furnace symptoms we hear most

  • The furnace blows but the air is cold Ignition failure, flame sensor, gas valve or a board locked out on a safety
  • It starts, runs a minute, then shuts off again and again Short cycling from a dirty flame sensor, restricted airflow or a tripping limit switch
  • I hear a click and a whoosh but nothing happens Weak or cracked hot surface ignitor, or an inducer and pressure switch fault
  • Loud rattle or grinding when the heat comes on Blower wheel, motor bearings or a failing inducer assembly
  • One room never gets warm on cold mornings Undersized or blocked return, duct leakage and airflow imbalance

People call this furnace repair, heating repair or heater repair. Same visit, same written quote, same technician.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1
  • 2Check the thermostat: fresh batteries, set to heat, and the setpoint a few degrees above room temperature.
  • 3Look at the breaker panel and the switch by the furnace to see if anything has tripped or been flipped off.
  • 4Pull the filter and hold it to a light. If it is grey and loaded, a fresh one of the same size may restore airflow.

Furnace Repair — quick answers

My heater quit overnight. Can you come out today?

Call us and tell us the house is at no heat. We prioritise no-heat calls and we will give you a realistic arrival window for your area, plus a couple of safe things to check while you wait, like the thermostat and the breaker.

Is it worth repairing a furnace or should I replace it?

It depends on the failed part, the age of the equipment and the condition of the heat exchanger and blower. We show you what we found, tell you what the repair involves, and lay out the replacement option so you can decide without pressure.

What is a flame sensor and why does it fail?

It is a small metal rod that proves flame is present so the gas valve can stay open. Combustion residue coats it over time, the board stops seeing flame, and the furnace shuts down within seconds. Cleaning or replacing it is a common fix.

I smell gas near the furnace. What do I do?

Leave the building right away, take everyone with you, and do not flip switches. From outside, call 911 or your gas utility. Once they have cleared the property, call us and we will inspect the furnace and the gas train before it runs again.

Why does my furnace keep tripping the breaker?

Usually a shorted blower motor, a failing capacitor or transformer, or a wiring fault. Reset it once. If it trips again, stop and call us, because repeated resets on an electrical fault risk damage and fire. We test the circuit and the motor load.

Do electric furnaces need repair as often as gas ones?

They have no burners, so ignition problems disappear, but heating elements, sequencers, contactors and blower motors still fail. Electric systems also suffer badly from dirty filters and closed returns. We test element amp draw and temperature rise to find the weak stage.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form with what you notice. Warm air, no air, short cycling, a smell, a noise. Details like when it started help us bring the right parts on the first visit.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, refrigerant performance, airflow and the return sizing. We test rather than guess, then explain what failed and why in plain language before any work starts.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then measure temperatures and airflow at the vents to confirm the system holds. If a duct or return is starving the equipment, we tell you what it would take to fix it.

Why homeowners call us

  • We know stucco tract homesMuch of the housing we service was built fast with returns too small for the tonnage installed. That single duct in the hallway explains a lot of weak airflow complaints, and we look at it before we sell you equipment.
  • Marine mornings, inland afternoonsCoastal condos fight humidity and salt air, while inland homes run long afternoon cycles in triple digits. Same system, different failure patterns. We set expectations for the climate your house actually sits in.
  • Diagnosis you can followYou get told which part failed, what it does and what happens if it waits. No hurry, no scare talk. If the honest answer is that the system has a few seasons left, we say that.
  • Repair before replacementMost calls end in a repair, not a new system. We quote replacement only when a repair will not hold or the cost stops making sense, and we explain the reasoning either way.
  • All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
